Hello year 4 children.
Well here it is, the last week of term and what a very strange end of the year it will be. I have missed you all so much but it has been good to see some of you back in school even though it was for a very short time.
To Parents – Thank you so much for supporting your child during these difficult times, I know many of you have had huge mountains to climb but your positivity throughout has been wonderful. Thank you for being the ‘teacher’ over these weeks and helping your child at home, not only academically, but teaching them about the value of family life and the life skills they will need for the future.
To Children – Hopefully today you will find out who your year 5 teacher is and this will ease some worries you might have had. You have all been incredibly brave and resilient during this phase of your learning, but we have been very proud of everything you have accomplished. Thank you to those who have sent photos of what they have been doing and those who sent home learning to show me, I loved receiving them so much. Enjoy the summer holidays, be safe and we will come and see you in your new classes when we return in September!
Lots of love
