Young Interpreters

We are taking part in the Young Interpreter Scheme

The Young Interpreter Scheme recognises the huge potential that exists within our school for children to use their skills and knowledge to support new arrivals to our school who do not speak English as their first language.  We can make them feel safe, settled and a valued member of our school community.

Young Interpreters undergo specific training and are selected on the different personal qualities that they may have.
