At Park View Primary we try to offer a wider range of extra-curricular activities to enhance the school experience for our children.

Multi-sports club

Children from Reception to Year 6 are able to attend multi-sports club with our Sport Coach. The children are able to learn about and engage in a wider variety of sports, developing multi-disciplinary skills. 

Sports teams

At Park View Primary we provide a range of opportunities for children to compete in sports. Many teams play schools across Basingstoke and Hampshire. We are very proud of all of our teams.

Gardening Club

The members of gardening club help maintain the flower beds and boxes around the school. They have a dedicated vegetable patch for growing and learning about the plants we eat. 

For the last couple of years, gardening club have joined school from across Basingstoke to help plant and develop the town centre. 

Well Being Club

The Well being Ambassadors help run the Well Being Club. Taking elements from myHappymind, mindfulness and physical movement, the club encourages children to find balance and explore their emotions. 

Cook with me!

An opportunity for parents to cook with their children. 

Cook with me is an invite only club run by our Family Support Worker. Each course runs for 4 weeks and up to 6 parents are invited to come and cook tasty treats with their child. The club aims to provide quality time for the families and creates opportunities for communication. 

Young Carers

Our family support worker runs a weekly groups for children with caring responsibilities.
