Attendance

At Park View, we believe that good attendance is essential for every child’s happiness, wellbeing, and success in learning. Regular attendance helps children build friendships, feel part of the school community, and make the most of every learning opportunity.

We understand that from time to time, absences are unavoidable. However, attendance and punctuality are legal requirements, and schools are expected to follow strict national guidelines.

We see attendance as a partnership between school and home. We are here to support you in ensuring your child is in school as much as possible, and we will always work with families to overcome any barriers.

At the same time, we have a responsibility to challenge poor attendance and lateness. Our expectations are high, and we will not lower them, because we know how important school is to your child’s future.
