UK Parliament week event
Mrs Norman, Foundation Curriculum and SMSC lead, organised an event in town for 9 local schools.
our Year 5 and 6 Pupil Governors were part of the activities held at the Basingstoke and Dean council offices. The children were joined by 5 councillors, the Mayor and Maria Miller MP.
The children submitted questions for a Question Time discussing issues about the town. In the afternoon, the children split into two groups and developed the points for a debate on whether schools should have uniforms.
