Marwell Zoo - Year 1

The Year 1 children visit Marwell zoo as part of their learning about continents, habits and animals around the world. 

 

 

Sea City Museum Titanic Visit - Year 2

Visiting the Sea City Museum links to the Year 2 topic focussing on the Titanic.

The children are able to explore what life was like onboard the ship and some of the challenges people faced as the ship sank. 

 

 

Basing House - Year 4

Year 4 learn about the rise and fall of Basing House as our local history unit.

We visit Basing House to learn about life in the Tudor period and what happened to the site during the War of Three Kingdoms (Civil War). The day includes handling artefacts, learning about medicine and GPS orienteering activity.

 

 

Gilbert White Field Studies Centre - Year 5

Year 5 visit the Gilbert White Centre in Selbourne. They participate in a day of out door learning with a focus on rivers. The children carry scientific investigations in a river looking at depth, velocity and animals.

 

 

Year 6 PGL Residential 

The Year 6 pupils visit a PGL centre. They take part in a variety of activities, which are designed to build confidence and team work. This is a 4 night residential trip so the children can develop their independence.
