A Welcome from Danielle Owens the Headteacher

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I welcome you to Park View Primary School.

We are a vibrant school with a strong inclusive ethos. I am so proud to be Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated governors, supportive parents and happy, engaged children.

At Park View we always put the care and safety of our children first. We have high expectations of ourselves and our pupils and constantly encourage them to work hard to achieve their best. The children are at the heart of every decision we make.

The excellent start begins in Nursery, supports children in our Hearing Impaired Resourced Provision and continues through the school. Through our engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded curriculum; where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure that all children experience success.

Our children say it is important that their school is welcoming; a place where they feel secure and are encouraged to do the best of their ability. They want it to be a place where people are kind, honest and happy; a school where differences are celebrated, were they all feel accepted and are respectful towards to each other.  They strive to embrace all cultures, beliefs and differences and understand that every person is unique. They feel it is important to always say positive things to each other and never hurt or bully others. They aim to make good choices, demonstrate the school learning behaviours and look after our school.
