Enquiry questions

Each unit of work draws together the English, Science and Foundation learning under an enquiry question.

This is a question that provides a common theme for our children's learning and provides opportunities for reflection. It takes the place of a topic title.

At the end of each half-term, the in-class assemblies are used to discuss the enquiry question and for the children to offer their answers. 

Sharing learning with families

At the start of each topic, parents are sent a copy of the curriculum overviews (see below). Through topics, photos are shared on the website and at the end of term, families are given a copy of the 'key questions' from unit taught - we hope this will help your children to share their learning with you at home.
