OFSTED
Park View Primary Praised in Successful Ofsted Inspection May 2026

Park View Primary School is celebrating a successful Ofsted inspection, with inspectors praising it as a happy, inclusive and ambitious place for children to learn. The school was also recognised with ‘strong’ gradings in three key areas: Early Years, Personal Development and Wellbeing, and Inclusion, reflecting the high quality of provision across the school.
Inspectors highlighted the strong sense of community at the school, noting that pupils feel safe, valued and proud to belong. Children were described as kind, respectful and supportive, with a clear enjoyment of school life.
Leaders were commended for ensuring every child can succeed, with particular recognition given to the school’s inclusive approach. Pupils with additional needs are fully supported, and the specialist provision for deaf pupils was praised, with children confidently using British Sign Language and contributing actively across the school.
In early years, children were found to make a 'great start', supported by warm relationships, engaging learning and a strong focus on communication and language development.
Beyond the classroom, pupils benefit from a wide range of opportunities, including clubs, trips and leadership roles such as pupil governors and young interpreters. Inspectors noted the positive impact this has on pupils’ confidence, personal development and wellbeing.
Staff were also recognised for their pride in the school and their shared commitment to providing the best for pupils, alongside strong relationships with families and the wider community.
The school will now build on its strengths, with a continued focus on developing pupils’ speaking and writing skills. The inspection outcome has been warmly welcomed by the local community, who continue to support the school’s work. Park View looks ahead with confidence as it continues to provide a nurturing and ambitious environment for all its pupils.
