What are some top tips we can use to help us spend less time on screens?

  • Elle-May, Year 4 – You could set a timer and call it “outside time”.

 

  • Isabel, Year 5 – Ask your parents to manage your devices for a day.
  • Tymon, Year 3 – Avoid getting the latest phones, as too much screen time can affect your health.
  • Kayden – Play outdoor and indoor games with your family.
  • Rhys, Year 4 – Limit phone use to one hour a day and go outside if the weather is nice.
  • Sienna, Year 4 – Play games with your family and get outside for some fresh air.
  • Lola B, Year 6 – Ask a friend or family member to put your phone away so you’re not tempted to look at it.
  • Archie, Year 3 – Don’t spend too long on screens as it can give you a headache.
  • Matilda, Year 4 – If it’s sunny, go outside and play, or set screen time limits and use an alarm.
  • Harlow, Year 4 – Set a timer for your screen time or put your device away for a while.
  • Kyron, Year 4 – 1) Go outside when it’s sunny. 2) Sit up straight when using your phone to avoid neck ache.
