Children’s Mental Health Week 2026

We were delighted to launch Children’s Mental Health Week with a special family event that brought our school community together in celebration of wellbeing and belonging. Families joined us for a range of uplifting activities, including happy breathing exercises, creating drawings of the personal cheerleaders in our lives, spinning the Wheel of Gratitude, and celebrating the many wonderful communities we each belong to. It was lovely to see so many families join us for this event.

This year’s national theme, “This is My Place,” focuses on helping children recognise where and with whom they feel a sense of belonging—whether at home, at school, or in their wider community. Throughout the week, our children took part in wellbeing activities inspired by this theme, exploring what belonging means to them and how they can help others feel included, valued, and connected.

We ended the week by coming together once again, this time as a whole school, for a fun group warm‑up followed by a walk around the school grounds. It was a lovely way to reflect on everything we had learned and to celebrate the strength of our school family.
