Support for Parents/Carers
Parent/Carer
Help & Support
We believe families thrive when they have easy access to friendly, reliable information. From tiny steps like toilet training to lifelong habits like a love of reading, we’re here to support families every step of the way.
Our nursery team works hand-in-hand with parents/carers and local professionals to help every child feel rooted in care and rise with purpose.
Here you’ll find a collection of trusted, research-based guides, written in plain language, linked to UK and Hampshire support pages and designed to help you feel confident at every stage of your child’s early years journey.
Sleep & Bedtime Routines
Why it matters:
Rested children are happier, healthier and ready to learn. Consistent bedtime routines build calm, secure habits.
At nursery, we support your child by having gentle wind-down times, cosy reading areas for story reading, low lighting and predictable routines that help children relax and settle.

Toilet & Potty Training

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support
Why it matters:
Every child deserves to thrive. Early identification and nurturing support help children reach their full potential.
At nursery, we support your child by seeing all children as individuals, identifying and supporting their strengths and areas for development, practitioners working closely with parents and professionals, celebrating strengths and creating personalised plans to support each child’s growth.

Screen Time & Online Safety

Reading for Pleasure
Why it matters:
A love of stories builds language, imagination and curiosity. Reading together creates precious family moments.
At nursery, we support your child by protecting our story times, enabling them to choose their own books, revisiting favourites, supporting their listening and attention, joining in with rhymes and actions and telling their own stories through play.
