Wellbeing Ambassadors

We’re proud to introduce our Wellbeing Ambassadors—pupils from Years 3–6 who are helping to promote positive mental health across the school. Trained by the Mental Health Schools Team, they support wellbeing through events, peer support, and creative initiatives like newsletters. Their efforts help foster a kind, inclusive environment where every child feels cared for and supported..

Each ambassador has completed training led by the Mental Health Schools Team, gaining a strong understanding of what wellbeing means and how to encourage it within our school community.

Their Role Includes:

  • Promoting and raising awareness of the importance of wellbeing throughout the school.
  • Supporting and organising events, including mental health awareness days.
  • Generating ideas to improve wellbeing for everyone at school.
  • Creating Wellbeing newsletters for all our families.
  • Modelling our myHappyminds approach to self-regulation and supporting their peers with these strategies.
  • Spreading kindness and positivity across the school.
