Wellbeing Ambassadors
Our Wellbeing Ambassadors are pupils from Years 3–6 who play a vital role in promoting positive mental health and wellbeing across the school. Each ambassador has completed training led by the Mental Health Schools Team, gaining a strong understanding of what wellbeing means and how to encourage it within our school community.
Their Role Includes:
- Promoting and raising awareness of the importance of wellbeing throughout the school.
- Supporting and organising events, including mental health awareness days.
- Generating ideas to improve wellbeing for everyone at school.
- Creating Wellbeing newsletters for all our families.
- Modelling our myHappyminds approach to self-regulation and supporting their peers with these strategies.
- Spreading kindness and positivity across the school.
Our Wellbeing Ambassadors contribute to fostering a caring and inclusive school environment. Through their work, they help ensure that every child feels ‘rooted in care’ and understands that their mental wellbeing is a top priority.
