At Park View, we want children to enjoy being creative and exploring their lives and the wider world through art. 

We prioritise having sufficient resources that the children can experiment with techniques and create high quality final products. 

In addition to art lessons, art is also incorporated into our Wellbeing opportunities including during class mindfulness moments and parent workshops. Every other year, we hold an arts week - where children are given opportunities to explore a wider range of artist expression and use more personal inspiration or themes for their creative outputs. 

Wanted to develop our connection to the wider community and helping children engage in public acts of art, we have also worked with the organisers of Basingstoke Carnival and hosted workshops to create visuals to be parade during the event.
