Ordinarily Available Provision

At Park View Primary, every child benefits from high‑quality teaching and a supportive classroom environment. This is what we call ordinarily available provision — the everyday strategies and resources that teachers use to make sure all children can access learning and feel included.

Inclusive teaching in every classroom

Lessons are carefully planned and adapted so that children with different learning styles, abilities, and interests can take part fully.

Differentiated learning tasks

Teachers provide a range of activities and resources so children can learn at the right level for them, whether that’s through practical tasks, visual support, or extension challenges.

Supportive classroom routines

Clear structures, visual timetables, and consistent expectations help children feel secure and confident in their learning.

Targeted small group or one‑to‑one support

Where needed, children may work in smaller groups or have additional adult support to reinforce key skills.

Access to resources and tools

This might include word banks, writing frames, number lines, sensory equipment, or technology to support learning.

Focus on wellbeing and confidence

Staff encourage resilience, independence, and a love of learning, helping children to feel proud of their achievements.

Opportunities for collaboration

Children learn together, share ideas, and celebrate each other’s successes, building a strong sense of belonging.

This provision is available to all children at Park View, whether or not they have identified special educational needs. It reflects our belief that good teaching for SEND pupils is good teaching for everyone.
