    Mon 23 Sep 2019

Park View Primary School would like to send a massive THANK YOU to Wyvale Garden Centre at Sherfield on Loddon for providing us with £250 worth of plants to help complete the new car park and entrance to the school.  With their incredibly kind donation, Mrs Skipp and Mrs Frewin have been able to make the school look very welcoming.

Parents and friends of the school can help further.  If you spend any money at Sherfield on Loddon Wyvale, please give your receipts to the school.  For every £250 spent, we are able to claim £25 worth of plants to keep the school looking beautiful in years to come.

  • Netball League vs Great Binfields

    Mon 03 Dec 2018

On Monday 3rd of December 8 children from Year 5/6 played their second game of the school Netball League against Great Binfields Primary. With a very slow start against an experienced and strong team we were down by 9 points to 1 by half time and it looked like it was all over. But with a change of formation and positions in the second half of the game and extremely strong determination from all of the children, we managed to fight back to only an 11 to 8 point loss. Great game of netball and looking strong for our next game! Player of the Match: Roxanne

  • Year 5/6 Netball League

    Tue 13 Nov 2018

Park View Primary entered our first mixed (gender) competitive year 5 and 6 Netball league this school year and played our first competitive fixture on Tuesday the 13th of November against Kings Furlong Junior School. This was the first time that the team had played together in any competitive matches against another school and we went thinking we would just do our best, see how well we did and see what we need to improve.

Against a confident Kings Furlong team we started off strong scoring 2 early points. We had lots of shots and kept possession of the ball with good passing, playing well as a team and just kept developing in confidence throughout the game to comfortably win our first game 4 - 1. Well done year 5 and 6!

Player of the Match: Lucy (Yr6)
